7 Forbidden Laws of The Bible That Humans Still do Everyday

The bible is a book that even the wisest of men cannot fully understand.

Many Christians do not regard most of the things in the old testament and they believe some of the laws there were abolished when Jesus came. While others have this strong believe that the ‘old testament’ matters as much as the new the they see the bible as one, and not a divided book.

It would be a great thing and an eye opener if ‘bible scholars’ enlighten us more because from the scriptures we are going to see below, it can be noticed that there’re alot of rules we Christians are going against.

You Will find different bible verses that supports this claim.

1. Braiding of Hair and putting on costly clothes

According to the ‘bible’, women aren’t allowed to braid their and put on costly clothes.

1Timothy 2:9

“And I want women to be modest in their appearance. They should wear appropriate and decent clothing and not draw attention to themselves by the way they fix their hair or by wearing of gold, pearls or expensive clothes.”

2. Eyeing a lady’s Behind

This if forbidden by the bible. And you can find this in Matthew 5:28 which reads:”But I tell you that a man who even looks at a woman with the purpose of lusting after her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.”

3. Women speaking inside the church

In many churches today, we see women climbing the pulpit and addressing people But 1 Corinthians 14:34 says

“Women are to be silent in the churches. They are not permitted to speak, but must be in submission, as the law says.”

4. Cutting of beards

Cutting of beards is common among men but a scripture in the bible talks against it.

Leviticus 19:27 lays a strong claim proving this act to be wrong biblically. It says;

“‘Do not cut the hair at the sides of your head or clip off the edges of your beard.”

5. Eating more than you have to

So many people eat in excess not knowing it’s a sin according to the bible, Proverbs 23:2 tells us:

“If you are a big eater, put a knife to your throat”

6. Gossiping about someone especially your neighbor

What would life be like without gossiping? For those who doesn’t know that it is a sin, now check Leviticus 19:16

“You must not go about spreading slander among your people. You must not endanger the life of your neighbor. I am the LORD.”

7. Drawing Tattoos

Here, many celebrities are found wanting and they love drawing tattoos on their skin. Even many young boys and girls are also into it. Leviticus 19:28 warns

“Do not cut your bodies for the dead, and do not mark your skin with tattoos. I am the LORD.”

How many of these sins do you commit on daily basis and what do you think of the scriptures?
