A Pastor Went To Preach At The Market, See What A Tout Did To Him That Sparked Reactions Online.
A pastor has narrated his experience when he went to preach at the popular Computer Village market in Lagos State. He was so happy that he preached the gospel at the market because he has been struggling to do it for a while.
The young pastor said after the 40 minutes preaching, a tout gave him N100 to buy bottle water. He said he was blessed. The pastor was very happy that someone was actually listening to his message.
He said: “Guys, I finally did it!😭😭😭
I preached the Gospel at Computer Village Ikeja this morning for about 40 minutes.
When I was done, a tout gave me N100 to buy bottle water. He said he was blessed😭
I had struggle with this for a while, but I finally did it. Never to stop again!”
It has become a common thing in our society for pastors to preach inside the bus, at the market, and on the street. Some Nigerians don’t like this act because of their public address system sounds.
However, the pastor story has generated different reactions on social media, many users said it is wrong for the pastor to refer to the guy as tout. Some said preaching inside the market is wrong and should be stopped by the government.
See some of the reactions below.
“Anyone that says the gospel is overrated, I don’t know what to say. I see that’s why a lot of people commit suicide. We need to intensify the gospel of Jesus. To tell them about the love of Jesus Christ. When people understand the love of Christ. The depression will be far away.”
“A “tout”? Perhaps a young man, a passerby, a listener, a sympathetic ear, a human being, a good Samaritan, a well meaning Nigerian…. I’m sure you get the point now.”
What’s your take on this?
Is it right for pastors to preach at the market?
Is it right for the pastor to refer to the guy as tout?
