Food is a very important aspect of life and good health. Food helps our body fight against various diseases and sicknesses, helps our body grow, and helps our brain to understand and comprehend lots of things. In general, food is a good and very important part of our lives as we grow each day.
There are some foods however, that can have devastating effects on our health especially when we consume them in excess. These foods can be eaten in moderate forms but become deadly when consumed in large quantities.

Bread and beans
Bread, especially the ones from outside, contains a lot of refined sugar and salt which can cause high blood pressure and diabetes. Much bread sold outside also contains bromate which is very dangerous to your health. Then imagine combining these dangers with the ones in beans.
Beans, though healthy, can cause some damages to the body especially when consumed in excess or consumed in a raw or undone form. Beans contain lectins that are responsible for their protection but deadly to humans. When taken in a raw or undone form, beans can cause some serious ailments like diarrhea, stomach upset, and some gastrointestinal problems which are lethal to the body. Don’t always combine these two foods and make sure that your bread is whole wheat bread from a reputable store.
Garri itself is very unhealthy and dangerous to the body and adding other additives makes it very poisonous.
Sugar can cause diabetes when taken in excess while the groundnut contains aflatoxins which can affect the liver. When you combine the deadly cyanides in garri and these other chemicals in sugar and groundnut, you will surely be shortening your life span gradually especially if you take them almost every day.

Instead, they contain unnecessary sugar which can increase the risk of diabetes, tooth decay, and other ailments. Always go for green ripe bananas as they are healthier than their yellow counterparts.
Cow milk is very nutritious and contains a good amount of calcium which can help the bones grow strong and healthy.
However, the animal acids in cow milk will not allow your body to enjoy the calcium in the milk. The acids are absorbed by the calcium in the milk and some of the calcium in your body. This can cause an increased risk of bone fracture around the body. Cow milk, surprisingly skimmed cow milk, will actually increase your weight instead of reducing it thereby increasing the risk of obesity. Cow milk may also increase the risk of prostate and ovarian cancer when consumed in excess.
It can also cause stomach problems like gas, bloating, stomach upset and many other gut problems. Take healthy tree nut milk like almond milk, cashew milk, and Tiger nut milk.
